ヒューマン映画のようなはじまり

子供とともに楽しめる映画を検索していたら、

「イコライザー」という映画にたどり着きました。

何と！

私の大好きな俳優の一人、デンゼル・ワシントン氏が主演なのです。

I was searching for a film to enjoy with my children,

I came across a film called “Equaliser”.

What a surprise!

It stars one of my favourite actors, Denzel Washington.

新人の頃の美しいアンジェリーナ・ジョリー

彼を初めて観たのは、

「遠い夜明け」という映画でした。

黒人解放運動を行う青年の役でした。

「ペリカン文書」「ボーン・コレクター」など多数、

I first saw him in a film called

“Cry Freedom”.

He played a young man in the Black Liberation Movement.

“The Pelican Brief”, “The Bone Collector” and many others,

渋いですね

知的な役どころの多い方ですが、

今回は、何とアクション！

最近のアクション映画で大ヒットしたのが、

キアヌ・リーブス主演の「ジョン・ウィック」。

He has played many intellectual roles,

This time it was action!

The latest action film to hit the big screen was,

“John Wick” starring Keanu Reeves.

「ジョン・ウィック３」には真田広之やドニー・イェンも出演していましたね。

ガンフー（ガンアクション＆カンフー）を堪能できる、

致死量マックス（とにかく物凄く人が死ぬ）の映画です。

こちらもお勧めです。

“John Wick 3” also starred Hiroyuki Sanada and Donnie Yen.

Gun Fu (gun action & kung fu),

It’s a film with lethal max (people die horribly anyway).

Also recommended.

キアヌはオッサンになってもカッコいい

「イコライザー」はアクション映画だと初めは気付きませんでした。

奥さんに先立たれ、不眠症を抱えながら孤独に生活する中年の男性。

昼間はホームセンターで働き、夜はカフェで読書をするのが日課です。

たまに奥さんを思い出しながら鬱々している、

I didn’t realise “Equaliser” was an action film at first.

The protagonist is a middle-aged man who has lost his wife and lives a solitary life with insomnia.

He works in a home improvement shop during the day and spends his evenings reading in a café.

孤独な少女と心を通わせる主人公

特筆する事のない、善良で一般的な男です。

それが主人公でした。

Sometimes he is depressed, remembering his wife,

He is a good, common man with nothing special to say.

That was the protagonist.
